To See Yourself
Sometimes, the clearest mirror
isn’t made of glass.
It’s a person standing in front of you.
In this image, they face each other.
Flower crowns resting lightly.
Water moving behind them.
Youth looking at youth.
And something unspoken is happening.
They are not just seeing someone else.
They are seeing a version of themselves.
That is powerful.
Because when you see yourself in others,
you stop measuring.
You start imagining.
You recognize the same curiosity.
The same uncertainty.
The same quiet ambition.
And suddenly, possibility feels closer.
Seeing yourself in others is not comparison.
It’s expansion.
It tells you:
“If it exists in them, it can exist in me.”
Sometimes we underestimate what is possible
because we think greatness belongs to someone different.
But often, it belongs to someone similar.
Someone who started with the same doubts.
The same environment.
The same questions.
The highest form of inspiration
isn’t admiration from a distance.
It’s recognition.
To see yourself in others
is to widen your own horizon.
Because once you recognize your reflection,
you can no longer pretend
you don’t see your potential.
